Jason Meeker, MD

Dr. Meeker was born in Tacoma and raised in Puyallup, Washington. A proud Puyallup High School graduate, he then studied at Brigham Young University and earned a degree in Clinical Laboratory Science. Dr. Meeker received his medical training at West Virginia University School of Medicine where he also completed his internship and dermatology residency. Dr. Meeker joined Puyallup Dermatology in 2017. He is board certified in dermatology by the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and treats all diseases of the skin, hair and nails. He has a special interest in making sure patients are heard and cared for. Dr Meeker received the 2020 Presidential Citation Award from the AAD for his work with the AAD’s AccessDerm program. AccessDerm allows doctors of underserved populations to have access to a consulting dermatologist when distance, finances, or insurance does not allow it.


As a young man, Dr. Meeker earned his Eagle Scout award and was named the most improved swimmer on the Puyallup High School swim team. He has served extensively in his church as a counselor and teacher, working with youth and adults. He values variety and individuality in people and strives to meet people where they are so that all can be edified and grow together.

He is happily married with four children and enjoys singing, gardening, mountain biking, serving in his church, and spending time with his family.
